Homeboyz
Dr. Dre
Dre and Snoop
have been homeboyz since way back in the day. Dre and Snoop first got
introduced when Dre's brother Warren G, Nate Dogg and Snoop had recorded a
demo tape and when Dre heard Snoop he was quite simply blown away. Dre hired
Snoop for his Chronic album and as they say the rest is history. Even when
Snoop felt down because Dre left Death Row and never showed up for his
courtcase . They got back together and are as close as ever which shows they
are true homies.
Tupac
Shakur
When Tupac
first moved to Death Row in 1995, Snoop and Tupac became inseparable
friends. Snoop said that Tupac was the partner he was looking for in this
Rap Game, he was like a big brother to him. They recorded many tracks
together like 2 Of Amerikaz Most Wanted and Wanted Dead Or Alive. They also
recorded quite a few unreleased tracks like Street Life and Cali Pussy.
Tupac and Snoop had a short beef on the week before Tupac died in New York
because Snoop said he wanted to work with Tupac's sworn enemy Notorious
B.I.G. Snoop said he made peace with Tupac though in the Hospital when Tupac
was in intensive care. Tupac also gave Snoop some advice about his marriage
when Snoop was unsure.
Warren G
Warren G and
Snoop have been homeboyz since way back in the day. They met when they were
about 8 and both played for the local Football team. They became close
friends after this and began selling candy to bring in some extra money.
Warren G always kept Snoop close to Rap and vowed never to take him away
from it. They both decided that they would make it as Artists and decided to
form a clique. They needed one more artists to join them which was Nate
Dogg.
Nate Dogg
Nate Dogg used
to be a singer in a local Gospel Group and Snoop loved his voice. Snoop
decided to recruit Nate Dogg to the clique him and Warren G had set up. At
first Warren G became jealous of Nate Dogg because it only used to be him
and Snoop. But as time grew so did his friendship with Nate Dogg and they
have been inseparable friends ever since.
