New York Shooting

2Pac was first shot in New York on November 30th 1994 at 12:20 AM. This was the start for the feud with Bad Boy. 2Pac was shot 5 times in a Times Square recording studio. Many parts of the media portrayed this as a standard jewelry robbery but 2Pac told a different story. 2Pac said this all began on the set for "Above The Rim". 2Pac met a guy named Nigel and Nigel introduced him to a guy named Trevor. Nigel and Trevor were alleged Black Mafia members and supposedly financed Bad Boy. 2Pac said that these two men made him "mature" and he started buying new clothes and jewelry to help his Thug Life persona. After they had spent some time with 2Pac they tried to pressure him into joining Bad Boy but he refused at this time he was still friends though with Puffy and Biggie.

                   It all began when 2Pac was at Ron G's house doing a Freestyle. 2Pac then received a page from a man called Booker. Booker asked 2Pac to perform a verse on Little Shawn's upcoming release. 2Pac agreed a price with Booker and away he went. 2Pac would normally do this sort of thing for free but he knew that they just wanted to use his name. He stopped off for a drugs pick up on the way. Booker then paged him again urging him to get there. 

                  As 2Pac arrived at the studio a scream notified him this was from Little Caeser a friend of his at the time. Pac proceeded to the lobby of the studio passing a mysterious hooded man on his way in. The men 2Pac were with at the time were Stretch a close friend of his, Fred a friend of Stretch's and Zayd his sister's boyfriend.

                  After they passed another man in the lobby they waited to be let in upstairs. After becoming suspicious of the men's behaviour he turned around and they started approaching 2Pac with identical 9mm 2Pac's crew hit the floor while 2Pac just froze. They said to 2Pac that he was being robbed of his jewelry but 2Pac being 2Pac he twisted his body to move the barrel of an opposing gun to his side and then he was shot in the groin.

                  After he fell to the floor 2Pac was repeatedly beaten and then shot in the head twice but at the time he wasn't aware of this. After they took 2Pac's jewels the attackers left. After making sure that Pac was alright his friends took up an elevator after seeing a police car outside. As they reached the floor the entire crew from the studio about 40 of 'em according to 2Pac just looked on at him surprised to see him even though Pac had buzzed the floor a few minutes before to notify them that he was coming down. They all must have though that he would have been dead by now. Pac even had the energy to flip off the camera man. Then as they hit the floor Little Shaun just began crying.

                  This was the start of the East vs West Shit because Pac strongly believed that Biggie and Puffy had set him up. Just take a listen to "Hit 'Em Up" and Pac's feelings will be foretold.
